Praise God for the way He is working at Alexia Manor in Cleveland, Ohio!
Our church has been praying to use the chapel inside this apartment complex. The board of directors denied our request to meet in the chapel because they don’t want to seem biased toward any one denomination of the Christian Faith. While I initially took this decision as a hard loss, God reminded me of a few things:
1.) The church is its people, not its meeting place.
2.) By meeting in the community room we can influence more people to follow Jesus,
3.) We need to press towards holding services and not just small study groups with individuals.
The picture above is the church at Alexia Manor coming together as one for our first church service! We had about 15 people in total dedicate themselves to the Four Pillars of Discipleship: Relationships, Prayer, Bible, and Outreach. Pray this church continues to grow strong in the power of the Holy Spirit.
